Ayqua Privacy Policy
How Ayqua handles hydration records, analytics, diagnostics, advertising, reminders, and user choices.

Effective date: August 12, 2026
Ayqua: Water Tracker Reminder (“Ayqua”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a hydration tracking and reminder application designed to help users record water intake, set hydration reminders, and review hydration progress.
We respect your privacy and aim to collect only the information needed to operate, improve, and support the app.
1. Information you enter into Ayqua
Ayqua allows you to enter and manage information such as:
- Water intake amounts
- Times when water intake is recorded
- Daily hydration goals
- Reminder start and stop times
- Reminder frequency
- Quick-add drink amounts
- App preferences such as measurement units and theme
This hydration information is stored locally on your device.
Ayqua does not require you to create an account, and the app does not upload your personal hydration history to our own servers.
Deleting the app may remove locally stored hydration information from the device, subject to Android device backup and restore behavior.
Ayqua also provides an option within the app to delete stored hydration data.
2. Firebase Analytics
Ayqua uses Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the app is used and improve the user experience.
Analytics information may include general information about app usage, such as:
- App opens and sessions
- Screens viewed
- Interaction with certain app features
- App version
- Device and operating system information
- General technical and diagnostic information
- Approximate usage and engagement information
Ayqua may record events such as whether a user added a water entry, enabled reminders, opened the history screen, changed the app theme, used the share feature, or interacted with other app features.
We do not intentionally send the actual amount of water you drink, your complete hydration history, your daily hydration goal, or your exact reminder schedule as custom Firebase Analytics events.
Google Analytics for Firebase automatically collects certain app-usage events and predefined properties to provide usage and engagement statistics.
Analytics information is used to understand which features are useful, measure app usage and engagement, improve app design and functionality, and identify areas of the app that may need improvement.
3. Firebase Crashlytics
Ayqua uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to help detect crashes, errors, and stability problems.
If the app crashes or encounters a technical problem, Crashlytics may receive information such as crash and error information, app version, device model, operating system information, technical state of the app at the time of a crash, and diagnostic information related to the crash.
This information is used only to diagnose technical problems, improve stability, and fix bugs.
We do not intentionally attach your name, email address, water intake history, or other directly identifying personal information to Crashlytics reports.
4. Advertising
Ayqua displays advertisements using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads.
Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect or process certain information in order to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising services.
Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google settings, this may include IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostic information, device information, and information used for advertising, fraud prevention, analytics, and measurement.
Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your location, consent choices, applicable law, and Google advertising settings.
Where required by applicable law, users may be provided with privacy or consent choices relating to advertising.
5. Advertising and privacy choices
In regions where consent is required, Ayqua may present privacy choices regarding advertising and related data processing through Google's consent-management tools.
You may also be able to change advertising-related privacy choices through your device, Google account, or an in-app privacy options screen where available.
Google provides the User Messaging Platform for managing applicable privacy and consent choices in Android apps using Google Mobile Ads.
6. Notifications and reminders
Ayqua may request permission to send notifications so that it can provide hydration reminders.
Notification permission is used to provide scheduled drink reminders, reminder notifications, and quick hydration actions from notifications.
On supported Android devices, the app may also request access necessary to schedule reminders reliably.
You may disable notifications or related permissions through your Android device settings.
7. Internet access
Ayqua requires internet access for services such as loading advertisements, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and opening external links such as the Google Play listing.
Core hydration records are designed to remain available locally on the device.
8. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal hydration records.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers integrated into Ayqua, including Google Firebase Analytics for app analytics and usage measurement, Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and app stability monitoring, and Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads for providing and measuring advertisements.
These third-party services process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Data retention
Hydration information stored directly by Ayqua remains on your device until you delete individual entries, use the app's data deletion option, clear the app's data through Android settings, or uninstall the application, subject to device backup and restore behavior.
Information processed by Google services such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and AdMob may be retained according to Google's applicable retention policies and settings.
10. Data deletion
Ayqua does not currently require or provide user accounts.
You can delete hydration information directly from within the application.
You can also remove locally stored app data using Android's system settings or by uninstalling Ayqua.
Because there is no Ayqua user account, there is no separate Ayqua account that needs to be deleted.
11. Children's privacy
Ayqua is not specifically designed or directed toward children.
We do not knowingly use the app to request names, email addresses, addresses, or other directly identifying personal information from children.
12. Health information disclaimer
Ayqua is intended as a general wellness and hydration-tracking tool.
The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.
Hydration needs vary between individuals. Information shown by Ayqua should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
If you have a medical condition, take medication affecting hydration, or have questions about appropriate fluid intake, consult an appropriate healthcare professional.
13. Security
We take reasonable steps to minimize unnecessary data collection and use reputable third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising.
However, no electronic transmission, software application, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Third-party services
Ayqua currently uses services provided by Google, including Google Firebase Analytics, Google Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads, and Google Play services.
You can review Google's privacy practices through Google's published privacy documentation.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Ayqua changes, when new functionality is introduced, or when legal or platform requirements change.
Any updated policy will include a revised effective date.
We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
